Fundraising for the people and causes you care about
Which type of charity should I give?
We accept Sadaqah, Zakat and Lillah.
Sadaqah
There are multiple versions of Sadaqah; however, Sadaqah isn’t to be confused with Sadaqah Jariyah. The main difference between Sadaqah and Sadaqah Jariyah is the scale of the impact. For instance, Sadaqah can act as a short-term solution, such as providing a hungry child with a meal for one night. On the other hand, Sadaqah Jariyah is given the intention of helping someone on a long-term basis. Sadaqah Jariyah examples include sponsoring an orphan or sharing the teachings of Islam.
Zakat
payment made annually under Islamic law on certain kinds of property and used for charitable and religious purposes, one of the Five Pillars of Islam. This is usually 2.5% of your total wealth.
Lillah
Lillah directly translates to meaning that Lillah is any mode of voluntary charity given in the name of Allah (SWT). Lillah isn't typically given to a person but rather to an institution such as a mosque, hospital, or orphanage.
